She's baaaaaaack

Hi to all my wonderful followers. I sometimes wonder why you guys follow me -- I don't blog much at all, and I don't think that what I have to say is all that interesting. :-/

So I started my locks again. *sheepish grin* I did do the styles I wanted to do, but in the end, I guess loose hair is really not my thing, I found myself not wanting to do anything to my hair other than just wash it, and when your hair is loose, you have to do something to it after you wash it. It's been a few months since I started my locks. I don't even know when I started them exactly, sometime in April or May. I think I'm less uptight this time, I'm not continuously wondering when I'm going to be locked. I'm taking things a lot less seriously. I started with twists, and am latching to maintain.

YES! Angie is back!!!!! ((HUGS))
I was just thinking about you this weekend. As far as not having anything interesting to say, or keeping your blog up-to-date, you never know WHO you will inspire! It is great to read from you, and you locks look great too!
I added a few new pics to my blog, and as soon as I fix my {home} computer, I plan to post more updates!

Take Care~

Angela as you know I (or maybe not) I started my locs with only 1 inch of hair. I added some extension to my hair because my hair is so soft that it was still breaking even though I wasn't doing nothing to it. That was back in November 2010, well any way my hair has grown past my shoulders and I have scat it twice not. My question is how do I get the hair from mind melting together all the time? Also the new growth is it suppose to start new dreads or are they suppose to grow into the old ones? I know this sounds stupid but, one side is growing faster then the other.

I am glad to see that you are back posting and freeforming. I read all of your older posts! It made me wonder why I never thought to document my freeforming lock journey. I have been growing mine for 14yrs now and I am amazed at how many more African American women who are freeforming these days.
They are looking awesome!

Trina,

Thanks for visiting this blog. You and your hair are beautiful. Also, you are very talented.

Alfina,

I'm not sure I understand your question. You want to know how to make sure your hair doesn't all join together? TO do that, after each wash you should separate the dreads that seem to be joining.

Also, I have heard of the hair being uneven, I don't know what you can do about that, other than trimming the longer side or ignoring it, I know it's annoying.

Good luck to you.

Hi Angela, How are you? Thanks for the advise about my locs. going to be changing the picture soon so you can see my loc which I am not happy with. One my hair seems to be breaking not real sure about this plus have some that are locked really tight and others well let just say loc extensions was not one of my brightest ideals.

Never mind Angela the new photo is there any way This is when I added extension to my hair and now it's grown out I keep the extension on the end and as they grow out then I cut them. But my hair is very thin what should I do? Any help you can give will be very appreciative.

Hello Alfina, form the pictures I can't really see anything wrong, I'm sure you're a better judge than me though. So your hair is normally not thin, but with the locs they are thinner?

Hi Alfina, thanks for asking. I guess I really haven't been thinking much about my hair, I actually forget about this blog until someone leaves me a comment. Right now I've been really focused on studying Spanish. Anyway, maybe I'll put some pics up soon if I remember, and when I get a chance this weekend.
