Afro ... oh how I missed you

Me waving through the unlocked root hair.

So, I washed the twists out of my hair. I'm glad I twisted, though, it really let me know that I really don't want to do it anymore. And the afro's back. And it feels so good.

Oh goody! Glad to have you back. I have to say that I like the afro look much better and I'm biased. Even if mine didn't look the same I would still say it. Looks good. Your hair is so dark and shiny looking in these pics.

@ tam

:-) Glad to be back. I also thinks the non twisted hair looks better. Thanks for the compliments. I think I actually oiled my hair that day.

I'm glad your hair went back to normal. I know I went against my better judgement and just had to roll my locks. You know cause everyone else was doing it. I ended up with a tangled hot mess of locks that were either too tight or too loose. All that time and effort and my roots and ends unraveled. Time and effort wasted, lesson learned. I haven't been visiting blogs due to my newly aquired YouTube addiction, so I missed the shout out you gave. Thank you so much.

Speaking of which, I tried to do bantu knots a month or 2 ago. I didn't finish completely, so I never mentioned it on my blog. When I went to take it out, maybe 1/2 hour after I started them, my hair was TANGLED. I was shocked and pissed.

Cool! I sometimes want to get another Adinkra symbol, but I can't decide what or where?

Sometimes, I find people staring at my tattoo at work, and it makes me slightly uncomfortable. :-( Don't know why.
